Where your data goes

• Local tools compute in the browser. Nothing you type is sent to our servers or written to server logs.
• Server-side tools (a small minority — cron parsing, IP lookup and CIDR math) send the minimum input over HTTPS so the server can compute the result. The request is used only for that response; nothing is stored long-term or correlated with another request. IP location reads this site's bundled ip2region database and is not forwarded to a third party.
• Browser history: the IP tool keeps the last eight successful addresses, location results and lookup times in this browser's localStorage so you can run them again. These records are not synced to this site or a third party and can be cleared from the tool page at any time.
• Public recent lookups: lookups of public IP addresses (the address, its location, ISP and the time of the lookup) are stored on this site's server, the last 50 are kept, and they are shown on the home page and the IP pages. That list carries nothing identifying who ran the lookup — no visitor IP, cookie or session — and private, loopback and other special-use addresses are never recorded.
• Future lookup tools, such as phone-number lookup, will state their data source and whether results are retained. They stay offline until a suitable source is connected.

Access logs

The server keeps the usual HTTP access lines (time, path, status, user agent, IP). Retention is limited to what ops actually need for troubleshooting. Logs are not used for analytics or ads.

Cookies and tracking

No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics. Language is selected by URL prefix, so no cookie is needed. Nothing you type is synced to a third-party service.
