Join several images horizontally, vertically or in a grid, with size matching, spacing and background

Computed in your browser

Drop several images, choose a direction and sizing, reorder with ↑ ↓, check the preview, then create and download.

You can also paste an image from the clipboard. Images are processed in this browser and never uploaded. Up to 20 images: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or GIF, 50 MB each.

Example

Input

Three generated samples: 1200×800, 600×600, 500×750 · horizontal · match sizes · spacing 20 · margin 20

Example result

stitched-1980x640.png: all three scaled to 600 px tall, at widths of 900, 600 and 400

Width = 900 + 600 + 400 + 2 × 20 (spacing) + 2 × 20 (margin) = 1980; height = 600 + 2 × 20 = 640.

Technical details & limits

With size matching, horizontal stitching scales each image proportionally to the smallest height, vertical stitching to the smallest width, and grids to the narrowest width, always shrinking and never enlarging, with stepwise halving beyond 2x. With original sizes, smaller images are aligned as chosen and gaps are filled with the background color or transparency. The preview is limited to 1,600 px on its longest side, and the download is redrawn at full resolution. Output is capped at 50 megapixels and 16,384 px per side; beyond that the tool warns and disables download.

About this tool

Combine 2–20 images into one locally in your browser: side by side, stacked vertically (for long screenshots) or in a grid of 1–10 columns. Match sizes by scaling down to the smallest common height or width (never enlarging), or keep original sizes with start, center or end alignment. Set spacing, outer margin and a background color or transparency, and reorder images with buttons. The preview updates instantly, and the download is rendered at full resolution as PNG, JPEG or WebP. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use

  1. Drop, choose or paste 2–20 images.
  2. Choose horizontal, vertical or grid, set sizing, alignment, spacing and background, and reorder with ↑ ↓.
  3. Check the preview, then click Create and download.

Input & output

Input
Up to 20 JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or GIF (first frame) images, each at most 50 MB.
Output
One PNG, JPEG or WebP image named with its final dimensions.
Limits
Output up to 50 megapixels and 16,384 px per side; no free placement, per-image rotation or text.

Notes

Before stitching long screenshots, crop away repeated status and navigation bars. With many or large images, size matching helps stay within the output limit.

FAQ

How do I combine several images side by side?
Choose horizontal and match sizes, and every image is scaled proportionally to the smallest height among them. For example, images of 1200×800, 600×600 and 500×750 with 20 pixels of spacing and margin produce a 1980×640 result. Vertical stitching works the same way along the other axis and is well suited to joining several screenshots into one long image. Use the arrow buttons to change the order.
Will images of different sizes get distorted when stitched?
No, every resize keeps the original proportions. Matching sizes only shrinks images to the smallest common height or width and never enlarges them. Keeping original sizes applies no scaling at all; smaller images are aligned to the start, center or end, and the empty space is filled with the background color. Spacing can be set anywhere from 0 to 500 pixels.
How large can the stitched image be?
Up to 50 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side, with at most 20 images at a time. For example, stacking ten 1170×2532 phone screenshots vertically would reach 25,320 pixels in height, which exceeds the limit, so the page shows a clear warning and disables the download button. Use fewer images, or stitch them in two separate batches instead. Matching sizes can also help.
